D.Thomas Clinic, Knightsbridge Aesthetic Beauty Clinic of Trust.
I visited before and after Christmas for two facial treatments and to also have some skin patch tests for forthcoming hair removal.
There are lots of beauty journalists and luxury beauty influencers who go around and say everything is wonderful. I try to not do that. I am heading to be a granfluencer, actually had to look that up, so I am 57 so not there yet but with the way the world is getting crazier by the day sometimes I feel much older!!
Moaning over, yes comes with the age, apparently!!
So, on a very personal level what am I looking for?
Some of this might seem very simple but to me it’s indicative of trust.
I am not a skin scientist so though I can use my skills of life, experience of the beauty and aesthetics industry, ultimately, I am putting my trust in an individual and a brand.
To me this is biggest factor, trust. It’s the same as a conversation with a doctor in that you need to believe in them.
Trust comes from experience, results and in my opinion very much how you are spoken to and the togetherness of the clinic physically and emotively.
Then it’s the experience and if I had my choice I would be pampered and cocooned in luxury like the Queen of Sheeba but that’s not always possible Michael they say.. boo hoo I say… and yes aesthetic clinics need to take hygiene very importantly. However, even without my 7 layers of goose down, smiles, care and attention are also nurturing and receptionists, communications, and a feeling of calm and lastly but importantly results.
I say these things as a checklist for the way I feel and apart from the 7 layers of goose down the D.Thomas Clinic are top class and I can say with hand on heart, in the 10 years I have been going to Debbie Thomas’s clinic my recent two visits before Christmas and after has seen both the clinic and particularly the way I have been looked after at their best.
I saw Cindy before Christmas and Polina in January and when asked what I was looking for, I said age is just starting to be a factor, though according to Polina my skin is in great condition, flattery will get you everywhere but no seriously I do believe years of facials mean that regularly people seem to think I am much younger than my 57 years.
2025 is the year to get me in shape and lose some flab, but that’s another subject.
I have combination skin and with some winter colds and flus I needed some manual extractions which I am a big fan of.

So, I left a happy bunny and looking great which I mean in all sincerity is what I want.
I really do mean that. If it works do not overcomplicate.
I could not recommend them more highly.
