The language of Gentlemans Butler is integral as words paint pictures, creates a feeling, and sets a tone for who we are. Gentlemans Butler is London Style & Travel Journal with old money aesthetics. Our DNA is centred around slow luxury.
For Ladies & Gentlemen who adore classy, dapper, glamorous beauty, romantic elegance & sensuous pampering.
Sensuality is the barometer of the majority of what Gentlemans Butler covers, with a close second coming “elegance” and “service”.

To Gentlemans Butler our senses define the outstanding, as a fine garment pleases our touch and a fine fragrance our smell.
It is not a blunt instrument but layers of texture in our life that give us the refinement we seek.
I would actually go further to say that true luxury is nearly always sensual and service, though not officially part of our senses, can be as well.
We adore Charm and the charming, with a glint in their eye…
Class can be both the Lord or equally the schoolboy doing something charitable and standing his ground.

Debonair evokes confidence, style and charm which remind me of the 70’s and my formative years.
Elegance reminds me of so much, especially my mother, who epitomised class and grace. Those with empathy have elegance as they are life’s great healers as well as a vital necessity for great conversation.

Being gentle for some conveys weakness, though I would disagree, and is a word integral to who we are at Gentlemans Butler.
Gentility, in my opinion, is far less about appearance (though we do not demean fine dress), and far more about conviction, manners and class.
In addition, the higher up the gentility tree one goes, the closer one gets to femininity, as gentlemen are more in touch with their feelings and equally happy to show off their plumes and colour.

Though being earnest can be righteous, so is a good dose of Frivolity. Whether wearing your finest pieces of Glamour or deciding that today we are going to have fine dining in the middle of a field.
Growing up on the golden era of Hollywood, the silver screen gave us wonderful divas and femme fatales rich in glamour and frivolity which were not only beautiful but created some wonderful and romantic escapism which is healthy for every one of us.
Grace and Grace Kelly to my mind are one. She espoused grace and elegance and often my mind turns to the beautiful grace and style of 1950’s couture.
Opulence is how the dining room should look

and Panache is how you dress to be seated in said dining room, and passion is what the chef needs in abundance.
Service is integral to Gentlemans Butler and as Queen Elizabeth 2 so nobly said “I declare before you all that my whole life whether it be long or short shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong.”
These are qualities we see many carry out every day from the army to nurses to carers. For the luxury world, service is key whether that be your supermarket or 5-star hotel, the attributes are the same, though implemented in different ways. It is about putting you first and saying I care. We focus on you.
And lastly but not least, stay suave and stylish….. and we say style as opposed to fashion.
