When you think of Piccadilly Arcade and St. James you think of class, luxury and opulence and so it might come as no surprise Perfumier, Couturier and Founder Marc-Antoine, of Marc-Antoine Barrois Parfums has set up their London store there. A place to amuse, peruse and feel fun, frivolity and passion.
100% made in France. Ten years after creating his own Haute Couture brand, French couturier, Marc-Antoine Barrois launched his very first perfume, B683. Building on the timeless and charismatic elegance of his mentors, B683 is a complex heady fragrance, triggering memories past but simultaneously firmly rooted in the world of his world of contemporary designs.
The first MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS flagship store is opened its doors in 2023 located at 4 Piccadilly Arcade
This London flagship is a replica of our perfume boutique in Paris (located at Galerie Véro-Dodat) dedicated to our dreamlike universe.
Inspired by the charm, the nostalgia and the whimsical of British children’s books such as Mary Poppins and Peter Pan, we will welcome visitors to immerse themselves into our imaginary world.

Originally from a textile family in northern France, Marc-Antoine Barrois seeks the art of simple luxury without ostentation but assuredly with finesse. After learning patterns, cutting and sewing, he designed his first collections, which he presented in Lille before joining the Dominique Sirop couture house. He then collaborated with Jean-Paul Gaultier at Hermès and Giambattista Valli before realizing that there was a real need for unique, creative and elegant pieces for men thanks to his experience designing a men’s collection at Jitrois.
VIRTUOUS FRAGRANCES
Concerned about the quality of our olfactory creations, they offer fragrances without preservatives*, which are considered as probable endocrine disruptors. Having also removed the controversial UV filters** and, with the exception of our first fragrance B683, they no longer use dyes, thus reducing our customers’ exposure to chemical compounds suspected of disrupting our health.
*Suppression of BHT (Butylated hydroxytoluene), an antioxidant believed to be an endocrine disruptor and to have the potential to bioaccumulate in aquatic species.
**Removal of Covabsorb (Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (and) Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (and) Ethylhexyl Salicylate), an anti-UV filter considered to be an endocrine disruptor and : tests conducted by Givaudan show that the stability of both Marc-Antoine BARROIS perfume is satisfactory even in the absence of these two controversial substances.
