Luxury Hair, Manicure & Pedicure at Mayfair’s FOUR London Hair Salon has to be on your luxury beauty contact list. You may have noticed that I do not have overflowing locks! so my requirements for curls and coiffing, highlighting and colouring is not at its most which in many ways makes my visit even more impressive.
As you know Gentlemans Butler is focused on the premium luxury market and we often produce features on a luxury grooming visit that includes Hair, Manicure & Pedicure.
I have known about FOUR London being one of the top central London Hair Salons, with a colour specialism but never visited, so thought it was time I did.
I came away with a feeling of having found a new friend. I was very impressed by my treatments and seriously impressed by the teamwork and being made to feel very welcome, something that should but does not happen often enough.
So, whether you are a gentleman that values service or a lady that wants her locks coiffed to perfection or maybe both! then we recommend you visit Four London.

Victoria line to Oxford Circus, I rose out into the afternoon sunshine and a short walk down Regent Street and right onto Conduit Street.
Entering Mayfair at anytime is always good and as I entered the large glass doors of the salon I was meet by a superbly efficient and amiable receptionist who knew who I was and what I was coming for which is always a good start.
She escorted me downstairs to a private room and a drinks order taken.
Soon after Carly, another super friendly lady, my stylist for the day came and said hello and then I was left to Edita who was going to prep my hair.

A wonderful starter package of about thirty minutes where I had my head and hair shampooed and conditioned and then a most relaxing scalp massage, something I am a big fan of and something that will just let you stop and let the rest of your visit take shape.

Carly @carlysmithhair has been part of FOUR London for many years and her professional and highly personable character was perfect, especially for a gentleman who is not endowed with the most vivacious number of curls. I was put totally at ease and as you can see though she could have done it the speedy way, the better way is to use scissors “old school” which is what she did.
I often think a good way to test the skill of a chef is to get them to make a tasty omelette. Well I kind of think this with a hair stylist. Cutting a gents hair with a receding hairline, as there is less to play with is a test and she passed with flying colours, so all you ladies with long flowing curly locks, first of all I am jealous but secondly you are in a safe pair of hands.

By the time I started with my nail treatments and had met Agnes my nail technician I was starting to think some kind of feel-good factor was in the water as she was the same, very professional and with great people skills, not rushing me and then I then found out she had been there for years, all of which says “Happy Team = Happy Clients.
As it should be my gel was soaked off, nails filed, cuticles attended to, buffed and a Made For life Scrub applied.
Then a base coat with 2 coats of varnish.

In general, I much prefer to have my manicure and pedicure one after each other, unless the salon has a very good mani/pedi chair.
In an ideal world I do prefer a manicure/pedicure station as apposed to on the hoof, so to speak, but I was genuinely really happy. A dedicated chair just makes it more comfortable for the client.
I loved my visit to Four London, could you tell; and I do not always feel this way. I really felt very happy and relaxed, and I certainly look forward to returning.
