If you seek, bespoke, private, one to one care and excellence then this is totally for you. The salon is warm, quiet and you are the only one there. The therapist Chloe is top class and Linda Meredith is a beauty brand right at the top of the tree. It’s about less fluster and more knowledge.
I waited downstairs at RYS Hair and Beauty RYS-luxury-hair-beauty-knightsbridge-salon (gentlemansbutler.com) and as normal Chloe met me at reception, and I was escorted upstairs.
I had been booked into having a 90-minute treatment with Chloe to experience the Natural Algae Facial which is a vegan treatment.
Situated in a beautiful part of Knightsbridge, Walton Street has the air of a high-class village with elegance and privacy. A perfect spot for a luxury facial and understandable that it attracts elite clientele.
I had seen Chloe before and was seriously impressed about how she thinks of everything and goes that extra mile. Previously she had waxed my nose, ears and trimmed my eyebrows, and without me blinking she had remembered, and this would be attended to during my treatment.
I changed, got under the covers, bolster placed under my knees, closed my eyes, and let the world drift away.
Then Chloe conducted her beauty magic.
These are the steps conducted in my Algae facial.
All products mentioned are all Linda Meredith’s skin care.
- The first cleanse is a cream cleanser, which can be used directly over the eyes and lips, helping to remove not only superficial debris but also make up.
- Second cleanse with the gel cleanser. Lathered onto the skin with circular motion, this cleanser deeply cleanses the skin due to the salicylic acid.
- Hydrating mist spritz instantly replaces moisture loss, gives the skin that immediate quench, not to mention smelling divine.
- Hydrating gel is applied whilst steaming, helping to plump the skin and loosen dirt and sebum, and gives off a mild tingly sensation due to the white nettle and lime extract.
- Steam the skin for 10 minutes. Usually, we do not steam during this treatment however Chloe saw my skin was quite congested and knew I would not get optimum results if the congestion remained in the skin. The best way to get the most out of a facial is having an efficient clean first.
- Removed the remaining hydrating gel.
- Blotted the skin dry and prepared the skin for extractions.
- Extractions including milia extractions. Facial waxing (nose and ears)
- Micro peel application. A diluted amount was used as normally this is not included do but I needed this. This is a professional product only and is applied in circular motions with a hard gauze all over the face and neck. This helps to remove any excess impurities from the extractions process and to resurface the skin.
- Removal of the micro peel
- Application of the Algae gel and the concentrated Algae with two fan brushes over the face and neck and massaged in until no excess is left. The Algae treatment is designed to detoxify and re- balance the skin whilst combating the effects of air pollution which effects the skin health. Algae is also a great treatment for renewing the skin, plumping, anti-aging and over all skin restoration.
Perfect for winter months.
- Applied the Algae masks in two halves and secured the mask with more Algae gel on top.
- Massage on the upper shoulder, decolletage, and neck.
- Removal of the mask.
- Hydrating mist spray.
- LED machine on for 20 mins. The blue LED is to target, redness, bad bacteria on the surface, blemishes, congestion, and healing.
- More hydrating mist after the LED
- Application of eye gel.
- LM1
- Phyto4+.
- Finally, application of Linda Meredith luxurious skin balm Amazon.
My skin was left looking and feeling enriched and glowing.
This is a mix of an old school facial, in a luxury setting with a modern approach using ingredients that have been around for centuries.
I am a big fan of Chloe and Linda Meredith as quite simply they know what they are doing and very importantly treat me and my skin as being unique.
