Recently, Gentlemans Butler indulged in a beautifully presented box of marmalades from Rosebud Preserves. A labour of love, this story begins with a connection to family, the earth and its bounty and follows to the present day where these fine products are made on Rosebud Farm near Masham in North Yorkshire. Inspired by family recipes, Elsbeth Biltoft has refined these preserves over the years which stem from her mother’s own recipes and her own experimentation to create almost sixty products.
We felt the tastiest way to sample these richly coloured preserves was to combine homemade crusty bread, butter and a large spread of each of the marmalades. Fresh, lively and full of flavour are words that come to mind to describe these preserves.

Red Grapefruit Marmalade: Fresh, bright and vibrant with tangy citrus fruit our Red Grapefruit Marmalade is a lovely alternative to other Rosebud classics in our preserve’s category.
In addition to preserves, you can find a variety of jam and honey, chutneys, jellies and sauces, and pickles. Time-honoured skills and tradition are part of Rosebud’s ethos so it is no surprise that they are going strong and continuing to provide wonderful products free from additives or preservatives and with the freshest of ingredients.
