Emma Willis London. A beautiful handmade pink shirt says a lot about a man.
Girls wear pink and boys wear blue. Oh, do they? Pink is not only such a beautifully romantic colour but it’s very uplifting and for a gentleman, man or guy depending on how you think of yourself it looks super smart worn with a darker colour such as a pair of dark blue jeans. It also sets you apart as a gent who is happy to show your more feminine side, is capable of making your own decisions and not just following the herd.

Emma Willis London
Emma Willis is the lady who is not only highly accomplished with her brand, but her ethos of care is seen with not only helping others such as with her superb work for injured military personnel in the guise of Style For Soldiers www.styleforsoldiers.com but with the way she cares for her staff.
For the buyer her choice of fabrics weave in some uplifting, refined and yes, a touch of the feminine, and is so perfect a choice for the gent that wants a touch of the je ne sais quoi’s.

Wearing the Colour Pink for Gentlemen
Pink – think romance, think luxury mixed with contemporary.
It’s a colour that is steeped in history, with royalty and with its meaning.
With its mix of red and white hues, red giving the passion and white the purity it symbolises love, nurture and compassion.
It is a sign of good health, and evokes comfort, warmth and hope. Think of the phrases “tickled pink” and “everything is rosy”

In Chinese it’s a symbol of happiness.
In Japan pink relates more to men.
In Korea it’s a colour associated with friendship, affection, peace and approachability.
Us gentlemen need to feel comfortable with who we are and the use of beautiful colours is a wonderfully uplifting way to do this for us and others.
If you a traditional gent think about the flamboyance of the city of London with their love of the daring. Think socks, ties etc….
For those of you who are more Milanese in your styling, who want to wander around Cowdry Park or have a stroll along a Miami beach in your shorts and leather toggle sandals, then its your comfort with pink that is the defining factor.
Jermyn Street Luxury Shirtmaker
Building a relationship with shirtmaker, taylor, shoemaker is not only the way to get the best results but it’s part of the joy of life.

Its significantly different from the methodical approach to buying something off the shelf, and its importantly about dialogue.
They find out about you and vice versa and the result is not only emotionally rewarding but they will use this knowledge to give you the best shirt for your life and your needs.
For Gentlemans Butler it’s been 10 years since first featured Emma Willis so it’s a wonderful way to celebrate this with “a celebration of wearing pink”.
Emma Willis who is an MBE not only looks after the planet but she is fundamentally invested in looking after her staff and empowering those in difficulty to excel.

Your experience will start with a visit to her showroom on Jermyn where your measurements will be taken.
It’s useful to also know for example what your shirt will be used for. As an example a violin player needs movement in the arms so when making the shirt there may be extra play in the shirt to allow for this.
For me one of my shoulders is slightly higher than the other, a common factor as in with many feet being slightly different in size.

Off the top of my head, I thought it was 16 measurements to make a shirt but in fact it is 14 so my memory is not too shabby.

It’s very difficult to fundamentally change who we are but if I was going to say one thing it would be try to open up.
I for example love to talk, but then I am a journalist. Do not sit a bunch of journalists down to eat if you are short of time!!
Many men like guidance, its perhaps maternal in a way. Maybe think of it like this. “I was thinking of this style for such and such a reason and use but what do you think.” The answer might be exactly as you thought, but very often there are suggestions and nuances that are highly useful in getting the best results.
Did you know there is a “type of shoulder” yes and the 14 measurements of arms, shoulder, wrist etc all tell a story.

Then it’s off for the shirt to be made.
The beautiful pink superior shirt in the making by Samantha, their bespoke head cutter, and Lizzie, sewing.

“Boys can wear Pink” – Bring out your feminine side.

I think you would have to do an English course if you had not gathered we are fans, but we are fans for very good reason. They are charming. They know what they are talking about. The fabrics are fresh, modern and upmarket and it’s a touch of feminine luxury for gentlemen which I think is a very good thing.
