Dr Maryam Zamani Oculoplastic Surgeon removes my mole. I have had a mole on my nose for many years, which had previously been confirmed as non-cancerous. Having had oodles of beauty and spa treatments over the years of all kinds, Gentlemans Butler is starting to cover in-clinic surgical and aesthetic procedures and this procedure we felt is a very popular request by clients, so a good place to start.

Renowned Oculoplastic Surgeon, Dr. Maryam Zamani heads “The Clinic” in Chelsea, London, a CQC certified state-of-the-art medical facility for self-improvement and empowerment through aesthetic procedures. Dr. Zamani and her team of leading Dermatologists and Aestheticians offer a range of in-clinic surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetic procedures all in one space, alongside medical treatments, laser therapy, injectables and skincare.

A Subtle Aesthetic
It was the huge advances in the field of facial aesthetics, lasers and injectables that inspired Dr Maryam to open her own practise in Chelsea, London; one of the first doctors to offer both surgical and non-surgical treatments. Her signature aesthetic is exceptionally subtle: she advocates doing very little, comparing what she does to the “no make-up make-up” look in cosmetics – in fact, one of the things that brings her most satisfaction is when patients she has treated say they’ve become confident not wearing any make up. “It gives me great satisfaction when patients say they feel confident with their skin and how they appear after treatment. When patients comment, they don’t need to wear foundation, or that they are getting compliments on their skin, that makes us both happy,” she says. “I think ultimately what we all want is to look like we’re really well – or that we have very good genes!”

My experience.
After an initial visit to meet Dr Maryam and her colleague I understood what could be achieved and a date was put in the diary.
For my treatment day I arrived a little early and confirmed my details for their files about my health.
Dr Maryam invited me in her clinic room, which is very reassuring as its bright, spacious, very little clutter and looked very clean.

The environment was very chilled. I sat down, we talked, she checked the medications I take and spoke about the options.
I decided for her to go ahead with removing my nose mole.
Next are the photos. Dr Maryam takes a bunch of photos of my nose and mole.

Then I move over to get seated in her space age white treatment chair.
Then the fun, not .. 2 rather painful injections in the nose but the pain is short lived so do not let this put you off.
She then removes the mole with a scalpel.
..she seals with a special burning implement.
Tissue in hand, plaster on nose and a spare plaster for my pocket.
All done
Afterwards sun protection is super important and was told the scab will probably go after a week which was true.
I had the plaster on for 2/3 days.
Less than an hour in the clinic, left very happy and you can see a photo of my nose 1 month after where there is practically no scar signs.
Genuinely very happy with the procedure, result and importantly I felt safe and in good hands.

I highly recommend Dr Maryam, her clinic and colleagues. Highly approachable and professional and I look forward to return again.
