Christmas Shoes for your Princess at St James’s Hotel & Club might be the perfect choice for many a city gent.
A refined London hotel, cocktails, luxury shoes and shopping, many a word close to the heart of your lady loved one.
I love pretty much everything about St James and adore a lady in a perfect pair of heels. A shoe fetishist, maybe not quite but imagine many of the most elegant photographs of ladies all dressed up and for one moment replace her perfect heels with some wellington boots or rugby boots and the image starts to reduce its attraction. Having said that I have seen images from the top fashion magazines that have mixed this up but usually for glamping or Glastonbury or such. So men adore ladies in heels and ladies love wearing and many you would say are infatuated by. I can visualise a gathering of ladies smiling at their boyfriends in of course a delightful way and saying “ see Darling it’s a win win” …. Yes the image is very clear.
So upon my return from Tahiti last week, I know what a jetsetter, I attended not only a lovely preview at Lucy Choi’s shop at 18 Connaught St, London W2 2AH which opened earlier this year and then jumped into a cab, somewhat jetlagged to enjoy an evening at The St James’s Hotel and Club who are partnering with renowned shoe designer, Lucy Choi.
Upon my arrival I was invited to partake in one of the beautiful Lucy Choi cocktail created by Salvatore, who recently won a coveted cocktail award with the Spirits Business.
I was I should note the only gentleman present that evening so it was obviously all in the name of research that I was surrounded by the super glamorous and then had to endure!! several perfectly prepared courses from the Seven Park Place By William Drabble an intimate and stylish restaurant influenced by classic French cuisine but made using the very best British produce. One of the smallest Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe.
The collaboration includes a Shopping Package with in-store discounts and an overnight stay at the hotel and Lucy Choi designs are available to purchase at St James’s Hotel and Club – perfect for last minute Christmas party purchases.
The world-renowned shoe designer and niece of fashion icon, Jimmy Choo, is adding her touch of sartorial sparkle to the London hotel’s festive décor. With a glittering palette of gold, copper, and bronze against warm earthy tones.
Hanging in the centre of the hotel’s winding historic staircase is a Lucy Choi shoe art installation; a magical festive creation of glittering shoes from Lucy’s collection, suspended through the heart of St James’s Hotel and Club.
Beautiful shoes will also be available to buy, perched in glass casings throughout the hotel. Perfect for or any slippers left on the stairs from speedy midnight departures or guests with forgotten party footwear; Lucy Choi and St James’s will ensure their guests are always the life and sole of the party.
And for the fashionistas, St James’s are delighted to be partnering with Lucy Choi on an exclusive shopping package. The grand townhouse might be tucked away in one of the quietest corners of Mayfair, but it’s just a stone’s throw from London’s shopping hubbub which makes it an ideal pit-stop for Christmas shopping. The package includes a stay at the luxury hotel as well as a Lucy Choi voucher to spend at her beautiful London store.
Roaring fires, stunning Christmas decorations, and a short walk to the capital’s epicentre of boutiques, department stores, and toy shops. St James’s Hotel and Lucy Choi are making sure each of their guests are counting down to the big day with a stylish spring in their step.
